ANSI Z89.1-10.2  HELMET IMPACT ABSORPTION PERFORMANCE TESTER

  • Description
  • Inquiry

Introduction:

Designed and manufactured according to relevant helmet standards, this helmet is primarily used for impact absorption performance testing of motorcycle helmets, electric bicycle helmets, and sports helmets. It is widely used in the production, R&D, and quality supervision of motorcycle helmets, electric bicycle helmets, and sports helmets. It can also be used for impact absorption performance testing of other helmets such as rescue helmets, fire helmets, ski helmets, and military/police helmets.

Testing standard:

ANSI Z89.1-10.2 Force Transmission/10.3 Apex Penetration/10.5 Off-Center Penetration

Features:

The impact height can be set by the user and is displayed in real time. It automatically stops rising when the set height is reached.

The base has impact resistance strength, can firmly install related components, and has pre-drilled fixing holes.

Pneumatically controlled engagement and release, with rapid and smooth release.

Depending on the specific situation, it can be equipped with a single-axis sensor gun-shaped connector or a three-axis sensor basket connector.

The helmet can rotate 360°, allowing for five-point testing: top of the head, back of the head, front of the forehead, and both ears.

The head-lifting and release parts both adopt a double-rail structure to ensure smooth descent.

Speed measurement and action are controlled by a mechanical and electrical PLC touchscreen. Data is acquired by a computer, displaying test time and curves. Test data can be stored and printed, and acceleration values and acquisition time can be exported as tables.

The PLC touchscreen is mainly used for operation control such as rising and falling, attraction and release, speed acquisition, and dilution.

Computer acquisition mainly includes sensors, constant current adapters, multi-energy acquisition cards, and host computer software.

The collision area is equipped with a 180° rotatable high-strength protective cover.

Different standards and helmet configurations vary slightly; the specific configuration is subject to actual procurement.
