Engineered fiber strength and elongation tester is a test instrument for measuring the tensile properties of engineering fibers. Individual values, average values ​and coefficients of variation for diameter, strength, modulus and specific work. It can display the load-elongation curve of the fiber stretching process in real time, and the test data and tensile curve can be printed and saved.

The feature of this instrument is the use of a specially designed gripper to suit the testing of engineered fibers with shorter lengths. The diameter can be input in the software program setting parameters, the unit is μm (micrometer), and the strength and modulus in the test results of the sample are in engineering units MPa or GPa.

The measured average linear density (dtex) of the fiber, or the nominal linear density value, can also be entered in the software program setting parameters. The unit of the strength and modulus of the test results is cN/dtex. In the case of known fiber density value (g/cm3), the above units of cN/dtex and MPa can be converted to each other, and the printing result can be selected according to user requirements.
