Vicat Softening Point Tester

 

 

The thermal deformation tester is widely used for the measurement of thermal deformation temperature (HDT) and Vicat temperature (VST) of thermoplastics, hard rubber and long fiber reinforced composite materials.

 

The thermal deformation Vicat testing machine uses an intelligent controller to control the temperature, which has an ideal temperature control effect; the deformation measurement uses a grating-type high-precision dial indicator to make the measured value more stable.

(1) Preparation work:

  1. Refuel the test tank → check the power supply → check the data line → water pipe in and out → turn on the power switch → warm up for 30 minutes
  2. Raise the test frame → place the sample with a clamp (side placement and flat placement), select side placement → loosen the digital display and align the circular table and press 2-3mm

 

(2) Test condition setting:

 

  1. Turn on the computer power switch → enter the test program → enter the parameter setting → test unit → test specifications → test method (f means horizontal placement, e means side placement) → select e method → ​​test number → select heating rate → select 12℃ /6min→save path→select the number of samples to be displayed (single selection or select all)→input sample width and thickness→select deformation amount→select bending pressure (0.45 or 1.82mpa)→select 1.82mpa

 

  1. Enter the parameters and start the test

 

(3) Start the test:

 

  1. Click the start button → the system will automatically perform constant temperature operation → add weight when the oil temperature reaches the initial temperature → reset the digital display → click the start of the test → the system will automatically heat up → when the set deformation is reached, the test will automatically pop up a dialog box to ask Is the test satisfactory? Click “Yes” to save the test, press No to cancel the test
  2. Click Data Display→Record Test Data

 

(4) Print data:

Click on the main interface → open the folder → find test data → click on echo → click on the print preview → click on print

 

(5) The test is completed

After the test is completed → turn off the heating switch → turn on the cooling water pump if cooling is required → turn off the power after cooling is completed → clean the work site for daily maintenance
