Introduction:
ASTM D1693 Environmental Stress Cracking Tester is used to determine the susceptibility of ethylene plastics to environmental stress-cracking when subjected to specified conditions and in the presence of environments such as soaps, wetting agents, oils, or detergents, ethylene plastic may exhibit mechanical failure by cracking.
