Introduction

The rapid plasticity meter is used to test the rapid plasticity value (plasticity initial value P0) and plasticity retention rate (PRI) of natural raw rubber and unvulcanized plastic (mixed rubber). The instrument is composed of a host, a film processor (including a cutting knife), a high-precision aging test box, and a thickness gauge. The rapid plasticity value P0 quickly compresses the cylindrical sample between two parallel briquetting blocks to a fixed thickness of 1mm through the main engine, and the tested sample is kept in the compressed state for 15s to achieve temperature equilibrium with the parallel plate, and then give the test sample Apply a constant pressure of 100N±1N and keep it for 15s. At the end of this period, the test thickness is measured by sight gauge as a measure of plasticity.

Plastic retention rate PRI After aging the sample at a temperature of 140° for 30 minutes through a high-precision aging box, the plasticity value P30 is measured, and the PRI value is obtained by calculation. The PRI value is a measure of the thermal oxidation resistance of natural raw rubber, and the higher the value, the better the thermal oxidation resistance. This machine adopts electronic direct temperature control, fast heating and high precision. At the same time, this machine is directly loaded by standard weights, which overcomes the shortcomings of instability and zero drift caused by the load electromagnetic spring.

This instrument can measure the rapid plasticity value of raw rubber and unvulcanized mixed rubber, and can also measure the plasticity retention ratio (PRI) of raw rubber.

Sample aging: The aging box has 16 groups of aging sample trays, which can age 16×3 pieces of samples at the same time, and the aging temperature of each is 140±0.2°C.
