Spandex Elasticity Tester

Introduction:

The XN-1A spandex elasticity tester is a testing instrument for determining the tensile strength and elastic recovery properties of spandex and other chemical fiber elastic filaments. It can perform single tensile tests on specimens to determine their strength, elongation, and load at a given elongation. It can also perform elasticity tests and stress relaxation tests to determine their elastic recovery rate and stress attenuation rate. The instrument boasts high precision and stable test results.

To adapt to the requirements of different testing method standards, cyclic constant elongation elasticity tests or other elasticity testing methods can be selected for elasticity testing. The number of cycles, pause time, recovery time, and other relevant test parameters can be set according to different testing method standards. During various tensile tests, the instrument can perfectly display the tensile curve, elastic recovery curve, or stress relaxation curve of the tested specimen, and can automatically calculate and display the individual values, average values, and coefficients of variation of various relevant indicators. All test data and test curves can be printed out or saved as files.

This instrument, designed for the low strength and high elongation characteristics of spandex and other chemical fiber elastic filaments, is equipped with a high-resolution load measurement channel to meet the testing requirements of minute pre-tension on the test samples. It also employs a specially designed sample holder to ensure that the test samples neither slip nor are damaged, thus guaranteeing the accuracy of the instrument’s

measurement results.

This instrument conforms to industry standards FZ/T50006 and FZ/T50007, as well as the viscoelasticity test method standard of the International Bureau of Chemical Fibers

Standardization (BISFA). It can be widely used in the performance testing of spandex filaments in chemical fiber and textile manufacturing enterprises, testing institutions, and

research units.

This instrument consists of two parts: a spandex tensile test and a spandex viscoelastic property test.
